Two Worlds Colliding

Sending wholesome songs of Jesus

into the trembling morning light,

where dew still clings to the edges of hope

and the soul remembers its first love.

Yet,

in the stretched‑thin twilight hours,

the melody bends,

distorted, confused,

pulled through the narrow places

where shadows whisper their counterfeit comfort.

Among your peers, mixing brings no satisfaction,

only the dull throb of two kingdoms

wrestling for the same heartbeat.

One day,

The soul must choose

Which gravity will it obey?

For dancing with the devil

is always playing with fire

And fire keeps its own accounts.

Payday comes with a scream,

dragging prisoners from the hollows

where they hid their trembling.

Yet still

A question rises like incense:

Will the Light that shines in the day

carry through the night?

Will it slip into the cracks?

touch the wretchedness of shallows and

shadows,

and turn them into Wisdom that burns clean,

that ignites.

Does that make even the broken places glow?

For there is a flame

that does not fear the dark.

A flame that walks into the valley

and calls the lost by name.

A flame that transforms the wanderer

into the witness,

the hollow into the holy,

the shallow into the shining.

And when that Light takes hold,

Night cannot swallow it.

Fire cannot scorch it.

Two worlds no longer collide

One falls away.

And the soul,

finally unburdened,

rises into the morning

singing the song

It was always meant to carry.

A Call to Awareness Only the remnant will possess discernment. Not the loud, not the learned, and not those who cling to borrowed revelation. Instead, it is the ones who have been refined in the quiet
